Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is designed to help domestic and commercial customers meet the costs of installing technologies.

These include:

• Biomass
• Ground Source Heat Pumps
• Water Source Heat Pumps
• Geothermal
• Solar thermal collectors
• Biomethane and biogas

What can you claim on RHI?

The amount of funding you are eligible to claim with RHI depends on the type of technology that you install, how much energy it can produce and how much you use.

If eligible you will receive payments every three months for 20 years.
